Online check-in

On some flights it is also possible to check in with a mobile phone to avoid having to print off a paper ticket. Checking in online allows passengers who are only travelling with hand luggage to save time at the airport on the date of departure by not having to wait in long queues.
Hand luggage allowance
All passengers travelling on Jetstar Asia flights are allowed to take at least 1 piece of hand baggage with them on board as long as it does not weigh more than 7 kg. Business Class passengers are allowed to take a second piece of luggage, also weighing 7 kg.
In addition, all passengers can take a small personal item with them on board such as a handbag or camera. Hand luggage may not be larger than 56 x 36 x 23 cm unless travelling on a regional New Zealand carrier. Liquids can also be taken on board but the containers are not allowed to be larger than 100 ml.
