Flybe now check cabin bag sizing at boarding even though suitcases are sold as “cabin bags” wasn’t impressed with attitude from the staff.
Unfortunately we have only rated our flight 2 stars due to the return flight. Going out to Aberdeen was excellent coming back however was not so good. My husband is disabled and on the flight out our seats we 18a and 18b which was perfect. In through the back of the plain in wheelchair and into our seats. Coming back we were allocated the same seats but when we go on the plane the cabin crew said we had to sit in 16a and 16b which made it terribly difficult for my husband as it was further down the plane so the wheelchair assistance was trying to get my husband into his seat with other passengers trying to get around him. Our seats were given to a male and female who also could not understand why they had been moved. When we asked for an explanation we were just told 'we have to have certain people in certain seats' What exactly does that mean? We were extremely disappointed after the excellent experience on the flight out. This left my husband quite distressed and uncomfortable for the return flight!
