Passengers with a VIP card or Business ticket can take an additional piece of hand baggage. Every passenger can also take 1 personal item with them on board such as a camera, laptop or handbag. These items should not be larger and 40 x 30 x 10 cm. Hand baggage should be stored in the overhead locker or under the seat in front of the passenger. Liquids in containers 100 ml or less are allowed on board.
The amount of checked baggage a passenger can take with them on an airBaltic flight is dependent on the ticket they have purchased. Basic ticket holders are not allowed any free checked baggage whilst Premium ticket holders can take 1 piece of checked luggage as long as it does not weigh more than 20 kg. Passengers flying with a Business ticket on airBaltic flights can take 2 pieces of checked luggage with them as long as the combined weight of the 2 pieces is not more than 40 kg. The maximum size for all pieces of luggage is 100 x 80 x 50 cm. Passengers with luggage exceeding the weight restrictions will be charged a fee.
