About Condor

A German airline founded in 1955 under the name Condor Flugdienst, Condor offers travellers an extensive network of leisure destinations across Africa, Asia, North and South America, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. With the slogan "Born to fly", the airline is Germany's third largest commercial airline in terms of fleet size and passengers flown annually. Currently, the airline boasts a fleet of 46 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, and a service network of over 80 popular tourist destinations.

Condor is primarily headquartered in Frankfurt Airport, but also has a number of secondary bases throughout Germany. A subsidiary of the British-operated Thomas Cook Group since 2003, the airline is also partnered with the German airline Lufthansa, with whom it shares a frequent flyer program and business facilities at its Frankfurt Airport base. A majority of the airline's long-haul flights depart from its Frankfurt Airport, though passengers embarking on a Mediterranean holiday are most likely to depart from Munich Airport.

Online check-in

Online check-in is available for all Condor flights. Check-in opens 24 hours before the flight's scheduled departure and closes 2 hours prior. Passengers traveling with infants under the age of 2 years are unable to check-in online and must instead check-in directly at the airport.

During the check-in process, Condor passengers are able to select their preferred seats on board the flight. After the check-in is complete, travellers have the option to either print out their boarding pass or store it on a mobile device to present at the airport. Special baggage drop-off areas are provided at the airport terminal for passengers who need to check items of luggage.

Very attentive and friendly crew. Very good in-flight meals. We had very comfortable bulkhead seats for both flights - but were disturbed from sleeping on the return overnight flight by one or two passengers on the starboard side of the cabin trying to access the forward toilet on the port side despite a request from the cabin crew to respect the privacy of the front row of passengers.Could a discrete though easily retracted webbing barrier be installed at the starboard end of the four middle bulkhead seats ?

Slight delay on outgoing flight due to fault with plane but overall a good journey. Cost of flight expensive at £660 return though and that did not include seat selection.

Awful Thomas cook/condor Flight was delayed both ways Thomas cook put the delay at 2 hours 55 minutes so invite you to gate just below the 3 hours but then leave you standing at the cramped gate for another 45 minutes before anyone starts boarding Then proceeded to charge me £4:80 for a soft drink and cup of tea on a trans Atlantic flight Very very poor This is the second and last time using Thomas cook I put the first trip down to bad luck but now see this as their standard
