Hoverboards and other lithium-ion battery sports items are prohibited. Firearms and replicas, gels, handheld tools and sharp objects may only be kept in checked-in luggage. Other weapons must be declared and properly unloaded. If you need to travel with over 100ml of medications, they will be permitted as long as they’re declared and accompanied by prescriptions. Ammunition and battery-operated wheelchairs may be carried in the hold, but mercury thermometers are only allowed in your carry-on luggage.
The Latam Airlines hand luggage size is 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm and shouldn’t exceed 8 kg if you’re an economy traveller. Premium passengers may carry 10 kg and two items of luggage up to a maximum of 16 kg. Bulkhead passengers won't be able to carry anything intended for storage under the seats in front of them, such as laptop bags and musical instruments. Carry-on bags are not allowed to contain firearms, toy guns, dangerous fluids or sharp objects, including shavers and nail clippers. Blunt sports equipment must be carried in the hold.
