Ukraine's national flag carrier airline was founded in 1992 and operates out of a single hub at Boryspil International Airport, close to its headquarters in Ukraine's capital, Kiev. On most routes, including those between Kiev and New York, Economy passengers may check in one item, weighing up to 23 kg. On flights to or from the United States (except New York flights) and flights to or from Beijing, Economy passengers may check in 2 items each weighing up to 23 kg.
