What to do in Berlin during the day:
Berlin has a lot of great museums, but we particularly love the Museum of Things (Museum der Dinge) in Kreuzberg where you can find an extensive collection of tacky everyday objects that are sure to make anyone feel nostalgic.
And if you love music, you must visit The Ramones Museum in Berlin Mitte. In this neighbourhood you’ll also come across famous tourist attractions such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the Museum Island and the Gendarmenmarkt.
Where to go shopping:
Ever heard of a Späti? These conventional stores are open around the clock and sell all sorts of snacks and cold drinks. It doesn’t get more convenient than this!
What to do in Berlin during the evening:
If you visit Berlin in summer, you’ll have plenty to do and see. Sit out on a terrace near Görlitz Park and enjoy an ice tea or watch a movie at the open-air cinema in Hasenheide Park. And if you want to explore the city’s nightlife scene, stop by one of the pubs in Kreuzberg or Friedrichshain for a drink or two.
