Marrakech is Morocco’s third largest city, and undeniably one of the most colourful. The winding streets of the medina, the walled old city, are the canvas for shops and stands full of a rainbow of spices and delicacies. The Koutoubia Mosque and Minaret watch over the hustle and bustle of the people about the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and the city’s gardens like the Majorelle. But the best part about the city is that in less than four hours you can be there as there are direct flights to Marrakech from London Gatwick and Manchester, and starting in February of 2013 out of London Stansted as well with easyJet.
