Third Place: Ibiza
In third place of the most beautiful paradise islands in Europa there is an island known to many as a party island: Ibiza. However, it is so much more than a place to party!
On the beautiful sandy beaches and the small bays that can be found all around the island, the partying atmosphere is almost completely forgotten. In the picture above you can see the beautiful Cala Conta with crystal clear water and a great view of the offshore islands. There are two broad strips of sand, one lined with rocks, the other with a sand dune.
The beach of Benirrás is simply enchanting with its crystal clear waters. The sand is partially interspersed with gravel. Because the ground is a bit rocky, the quality od snorkeling at this beach is simply wonderful. Both sides of the bay are framed by rocks, you have a wonderful view of a rock “Cap Bernat” steeply protruding from the water.
At Cala Bassa ‘the dreams of paradise holidays’ come true. The water is clear and turquoise. In addition, the sand is perfect, lightly golden and soft. Here it is impossible to be bored, as there is always something going on – for example, there are various water sports, like jet skiing.
For those who do not want to spend their holidays in paradise too calm or too quiet, or who want to celebrate life instead: You can always find a legendary party on the beach or in one of the many nightclubs in Ibiza!

Second Place: Corsica
Ta ta ta taaaa…And in the second place of the most beautiful paradise islands in Europe: Corsica!
The island in the Mediterranean has beautiful beaches, such as those in and around Porto Vecchio, which can be seen in the picture above. Palombaggia beach is the most famous sandy beach in Corsica. In the hinterland you will find pine trees. But what makes this beach so amazing? The turquoise water and the perfect white sand! And because it is not enough for us, here is another picture of this paradise beach:
You’ve had enough of sand? Then inland, sweet little towns are waiting for you! Secretly, Corte is the capital of the island, where you can stroll through the streets in the evening, find bars and restaurants. You could definitely have some paradise days here, right?
And the list goes on – why is Corsica in 2nd place of paradise islands in Europe? Because of Bonifacio. This is the southernmost city of the island and it is built on the high white limestone cliffs. One of the best highlights here: the lighthouse La Madonetta.
The river Fango meanders across the island and has created some refreshing bathing spots in the valley. And if you’re not interested in a dip, how about a little river walk?
And yes, there is still more on this list, because the paradise island of Corsica is just so beautiful. After all, we cannot forget about one of the largest cities in Corsica: Bastia.
