First Place: Sardinia
It is the second largest island in the Mediterranean and, for us, the most beautiful paradise island in Europe. Drumroll for Sardinia.
The special thing about the Italian island? It is a large nature reserve with thousands of rare animal and plant species, which are under protection. You love nature? Then you should be particularly interested in the coast in the northeast, Capo Comino.
The Grotte di Nettuni was only accessible by sea until the middle of the 20th century. In 1959, a stone staircase with 650 steps leading down to the grotto was completed. The access is easier by boat from Alghero or Porto Conte but the view of the cliffs Capo Caccia is worthwhile.
In San Teodoro and Budoni you will find long, flat sandy beaches with beautiful lagoons. We can hardly say what these pictures do not show anyway:
