8. Ice Cavern (Iceland)
Discovered in the 1980’s in Skattafel, Iceland, the Kverkfjöll ice cave is without a doubt one of the most famous glacier caves in the world. Moulded by hot water from the volcanic spring below the glacier, this cave can only be accessed in winter.
Fun Fact: If you stand inside the cave, you can hear cracking sounds every time the glacier moves.
