Although much improved in recent years with a new open and spacious check in area it’s still a bit of a relic of years gone by. Immigration are a “cheerful” as ever. Long long lines for security (come on people - fluid restrictions really shouldn’t be a surprise by now!). And the “holding pens” for the gates are as dated uncomfortable and bleak as ever. This is one airport I shall ALWAYS pay extra to ustilise a lounge from now on. Also: often there is an air-con issue in this airport. It had been improved - but is still years behind.
